Oh Emma

About a week ago Holly called and said Emma had some lumps behind her knee. Karen felt them on Saturday and said she probably should just get them checked.

Emma will be 14 in October and she has always had a variety of fatty lumps and other assorted lumps so I am sure that all of us thought it was just another Emma lump. The Dr. took some biopsies and we were all very sad to get the diagnosis.

Emma has lymphoma. There wasn’t any question at all on the biopsy.

At nearly 14 years old, there really aren’t a lot of options. She already has really weak hind legs. So the plan of action is to enjoy every day, every minute, every second.

Go ahead and sing at the top of your lungs girlfriend. It’s party time in Emma-ville.
