I miss my momma

My youngest daughter is off for the weekend, leaving us to baby sit the grand dog.

Where is Holly you might ask? She’s in Washington state doing the Half Ironman. 1.5 mile swim, 56 mile bike ride and a half marathon. Don’t ask me where she got those genes, they didn’t come from me.

I have however served notice that if she goes to Hawaii to do the Ironman there, I have to go to cheer her on.

Every time Emma goes outside, she watches the back door that Holly left out of. It is so sweet and kinda sad. This doggie loves her momma, maybe even more than her momma loves her.

Emma will just have to be patient. Her momma will be home on Monday.

  1. Emma has such a darling face, and I can never resist a “sit.” Isn’t it funny when you look at your kids and think, “Where did that come from?” Hope Holly met the goals she set for herself. I would push, I mean encourage, that Hawaiian Ironman.
