We’re melting

Yes, I’m whining and we have air conditioning in the house. But it is hot. Low 90s today and upper 90s the rest of the week.

What on earth is that weatherman thinking? We’re from the Pacific Northwest for crying out loud!

  1. We don’t have A/C and we get those kinds of temps regularly in summer. I find the dogs adapt to it better if they aren’t kept in A/C and the same goes for their humans. We take precautions against heatstroke by only walking late at night or early mornings, having an extra water bowl and keeping the curtains closed during the day (the dogs are always inside) and we always have the A/C on in the car for them, but they do adapt by dropping most of their coat and I assume there are some deeper physiological adaptations too, which humans also make.
