Stars and studs

Our greyhound friend Nancy called today. We just don’t hear from them often enough, so it is always a treat. One of the first questions out of her mouth was “How are my girls?” So I figured I had better come clean with a few twin pictures. Regardless of how uncooperative they are.

We didn’t have long to talk, so I never got to tell Nancy the most exciting news.

Twins in the tulips

A few month back I submitted a couple of pictures to an art book. The book “Retired From Racing, Not From Life” is a project to raise funds for the OSU Greyhound Health and Wellness program and 100% of the profits will go to it.

Of course, an art book wouldn’t be an art book without Mr. Handsome, so he has a place in it as well.

Retired From Racing, Not From Life

Paul and Nancy have had greyhounds for years and as trainers are probably two of the biggest advocates for greyhound adoption I know. In fact, if truth be told, they have the biggest hearts ever for any four-legged furry creature that needs some help. They’ve found homes for many cats and dogs along with the greyhounds.

I thought it was especially fitting for them to have three of their retired racers in the book. The book is a wonderful project to help out a cause that in the end will benefit all dogs.

You can order it online here: Retired From Racing, Not From Life, Blurb books.

Thanks Paul and Nancy, we love you guys!
